|Certification||This master's programme is approved by the Zentralstelle für Fernunterricht (ZFU) in Germany with the registration number: 1106520.||Title||For EU citizens: The supplementary decision of 21.09.2001 in its modified version of 15.05.2008 provides that higher education degrees from member states of the EU and the European Economic Area (EEA) can be used in their original form without a designation of origin, while degrees acquired outside the EU must be used in the form in which they were awarded, indicating the university awarding the degree (KMK 2008, 2001 and 2000), provided that there are no specific agreements between the countries.
For example, a Master's degree in law obtained at New York University would have to be listed as "LL.M. (New York University)". According to a judgment of the Berlin Court of Appeal (Judgement of 22 February 2012, Case No. 5 U 51/11), it should also be permissible to supplement the title acquired outside Europe with the name of the place where the title was acquired, i.e. "LL.M. (New York)".
The MSc title in Business Psychology would - unless there is an agreement between the UK and the EU - be held as follows Business Psychology MSc (London) or Business Psychology MSc (London Met. University).|
The use of academic titles acquired in Europe is regulated by the country in which the graduate holds the title. Example: If an American student obtains his degree from UK and works in Japan, the Japanese regulations will govern the usage of his title.
